New York Map & Walks (F) App Reviews

Lots of things to see are missing, ergonomic is very bad, painful to use, and lots of bugs (map always dezooming, tour route not working, ...). Good idea but very bad implementation

Re suggested shopping or antique tours information given is outdated. Tried two tours, shops too far apart from each other for a walking tour, and more than half of them closed or moved - some of them do not exist for years. Ripoff, i would like my money back.

A total, total waste of money. Almost zero content. They are clearly trying to put up a lot of these for different cities to score big, but without having to do the work to make it worth anything. Free would cost too much.

Aside from what the others have said, Id like to add that the text is ripped (apparently without looking) out of Wikipedia and the "tours" are randomly strung-together sites that in some cases are too far apart to walk in less than an hour or two. You dont want to buy a city app from someone whos never been to that city.

I loaded this app while we were on vacation and visiting NYC. this app is junk, the maps and the overlay that is created showing the walking tour are not linked. If i tried to move the map i found myself moving the walking pathe all over the map. When moving the map and it is repainted it repaints in sections that do not match together. It was totally useless for my trip

Forget this App, real aaste of money

The routes are easy to follow and the locations seem interesting, but the app doesnt give you any info (not even a blurb) about any of the locations it tells you to visit. So you get there, and dont know any of the history or information about the point of interest.
